I have a 2001 blaster with carbon fiber reeds and a full fmf powercore 2 exhaust not on it. My question is that if I put it on what will i need to do to not blow my engine.

If it is just a muffler, nothing will need to be done, other than a leak down test.
If it is a full pipe and muffler!
Leak down test!
Rejet carb, starting at #280 #290 main.
Set float level and idle correctly.
Plug chop to confirm jetting!

Is it a mikuni carb? Then yes you did. if it is another carb, say Keihine, then I don't think their jet numbers go that high....do they?
