My blaster is about all aftermarket, except for my engine that is. I just have not wanted to ship my engine off and get it worked on. I have had other port and head work done by flotek and esr on other machines. What kind of engine work should I get for riding trails and open fields and the occasional mx track? What builder should I go with to do the work? KOR, flotek, esr, wildcard etc etc. I think I want a rechambered head, agg trail port, and a +3 stroker crank. It has to run on pump gas and be as reliable as possible. Its either this or sell the blaster and buy a lt250r, 250r or another 3 wheeler!

These are my current mods

triple rate yfz works with rezzies on asr +3 up 1 arms
400ex elka shock
tusk adjustable axle
full motion pro cables
full razor 2 tires on yfz wheels
reinforced frame
cfm air box
14/40 gearing

List goes on and on

Porting, head mod and good pipe will give a real nice shot of power. Do your research on builders and see who you wish to use. I've done my own research and have decided Ken OConner racing is who I would use.

contact them all and see what they tell you, but good luck getting ahold of a couple of them :)
i can give you the only # i use...... KOR: 860-230-5003
i'd bet he even answers the phone today, if not, leave a mesaage and #, he'll call you back asap.
when i just talked to him around 9-ish, he was in the shop working on engines.
kens quality, power, reliabililty, and customer service are top shelf.

the occasional mx track

when you call those other builders, ask them if they have any MX championships, wins or results to share with you ?

I forgot to add I have a full dmc pipe. I will give them all a call! I see awk is a KOR guy :). His case saver and 400ex bushings were great quality no doubt. What made you choose KOR blasterdemon? I want around 30hp. I think agg trail porting and head work will get this no problem with my current mods, and i can use the stock carb on those mods effectively. My friends and I race 450s in mx and 700s in xc. I take my blaster to the track with me every once in awhile. I have a few local tracks I ride too with the blasty. Not racing just messing around mostly. Whats the opinion on the +3 or +4 crank?

I might have to pass on that crank. It says one was sold? hahaha I might just get rid of the blaster and get a lt250r or trx250r. The resale value on these bikes are awful. I have no idea how much it is worth though? Might start a thread on it later in the day.
