hey guys im new to the forum just bought a blaster for dirt cheap and it has the oil injection deleted and a few other mods but the crank case breather is just routed under the seat with a goofy sealed can on the end but there is nothing in it, its just a canister with no holes or anything. my question is would it be safe to just ditch the can and cap the port since its just plugging the hose anyways? or does it actually serve a purpose?

The breather regulates pressure in the gearbox and must be open to atmosphere.

Do not block it up or you may blow a seal and create an air leak and fry the piston.

The hose should be long enough to terminate under the hood near the headlight.

If you have any type of mods it would be a great idea to check the jetting.

The first thing for you to do is to leak test it before you start it again.
