Right guys doing a bit of CNC machining on mills and lathes at college just now fancy a little project. Going to make a dozen oil block off plates and a couple of oil pump covers. I haven't discussed with my lecture yet I recon he should know but how do you guys think I should go about getting dimensions to make these parts if any of you help and Iam able to I would sent out one of each to you aslong as you cover shipping I live in UK btw so not sure how expensive it would be. Iam drawing these up on Master Cam so don't need to worry about writing code I just need to work out how to dimension the bloody thing I've tried everything and it's ok but not perfect. Iam also going to be engraving a Yamaha logo on the top of the cover with the CNC machine which I think will look awesome, that's if college have the right tool we have limited tools as we only run 3-4 jobs every year which is the same for every Mech eng class. Any help would be appreciated guys I know bronco done a cover but that guys got supernatural powers His fab skills are out of this world!!

Also maybe make some skid plate mounts. They are hard item to find.

Don't like the cheap ugly steel ones. Like this:
