Sick build man! Looks great onscreen, and I can't wait to see it once you start getting things put together. Are you gonna be running a forged piston with that ported Vito's setup?

im pretty stoked man, i leave for cali for a month and a half soon, so im trying to get it everything i can done before i go so when i get back i can finish what i need to get done so i can finish the blue blaster, going to get a stock motor and have ken port it, its for the wife so its not going to be anything ridiculous. that one will be another story...

probably will swith piston to wossner forged piston, right now its the cast one that came with the motor when i bought it. ken has it so when i get it back i might fork the cash to get the forged before i throw it on the bike.

so here are the pics of the frame and WOW!! i am def impressed with the work, the swatch of the paint did it no justice...

without further adew...

lookin good bro, but 2 things..............

watch usin my brakes with a wave rotor, the pads have been known to catch on the waves and self detonate (305's experience) and with the gsxr's theres no real need for the wave, they work awesome alone with a stock rotor

and ken should have the exact piston you will be running before boring it, due to slight differences in each piston

I ran ur brake awk with a wave rotor with never a problem. It stopped great and never caught but i didnt use it a whole lot but it did work very well for the short time i did use it.

well damn, i got the rotor in the deal with everything else i bought so i got it anyways, but if there is going to be trouble then i wont run it

if it does catch, as 305's did, it'll just bend the bracket, which since 305's incident, i now offer lifetime warranty on the brackets, you break/bend it, i make you a new one
give it a shot

the guy around where im at has amazing prices, if anyone wants things done let me know and i will get u a quote, i only paid 160 to have the frame done, when others were talking 250-300

well i had a couple hiccups today when i called ken, not too bad but sh*t happens, first off the piston i have is discontinued so if i used it and when i need a rebuild it would have to go back to ken to get matched with the new piston, so i had to get a new one then he calls be back not 5 min later and tells me someone in his shop realized my damn sleeve dropped in my cylinder!!! i was like wtf? so i know why the motor was giving me such problems. well i just have to say this guys if u want someone down to earth and really knows his sh*t when it comes down to porting and knowing what to do, this is the guy to go to, man i was impressed when i talked to him and i know my motor is in good hands. thankns to ken o connor. oh we also got some top secret squirrel sh*t going on so stay tuned....

but on a good note 442 shipped almost all of the goodies!! hopefully be here before i leave for cali...plenty of pics to come

The one that came with my motor when I bought it,Ken would know more about it has something to do with the pie cuts in the piston. If u would like to know more talk to Ken.

im curious as to what piston is discontinued?

I recently just talked to vito's about pistons and can forward the email to anyone interested. They have recently gone to a new cast piston design and no longer make the cast pistons that originally came with 240 bbk. The new cast is supposed to clean imperfections with the first design(pie cuts?). They are also in the process of putting together a new forged piston made by wiseco for the bbk or 240 sleeve. There has been some talk on here that they have discontinued forged pistons for the 240. This is not true ... they blame the economy for the fact that they have not had wiseco make new ones recently but guaranteed they will be making a new run soon and they will be available within then next few months .....

I assume tater has an original cast piston .... which is why it is discontinued

@smoker - gonna be a cool one. Your in everett huh, (i used to live down on casino....lol). We should get a northwest ride together for blasterforum ...

you mean one of the vitos pistons that have the cutout on the exhaust port side to change the exhaust port timing?
