case painting question.

Do you think it would be better to assemble the bottom end, then paint, or paint the halves then assemble and retouch?

im woundering the same question but do you know if i can just spray can it or will that hurt the engine?

Spray paint would be fine if you do it right.

Either way you do it the engine should be taken apart and cleaned thoroughly. no way can you just spray it on the quad.

i think painting them while apart would be your best bet. just be sure to not let paint in any hole or on the mating surface of the cases

X-acto knife works well for cutting the tape. lots of tedious work tho.
