i cant seem to figure out which way to turn the nuts on the axle to get them to break loose. can anyone tell me which way i have to turn them. is there a secret to it, a special tool i need to use?
Standard threads, righty-tighty, lefty-loosy. I made my own open end wrenches, big cresent/adj , pipe wrench (ouch), Yamaha sells the wrench adapater, probably cheaper for adj from Harbor freight/ Home D, Lowes, Tractor Supply. Might need a cheater bar to budge them. Be sure to follow manual for adjusting for re-assembly. Good luck getting it apart.
