my carb is acting up. It isn't getting gas to the bowl. i took it off and turned the gas on and it is coming out just fine, but when i put it back together and try to start it nothing happens. when i put a little gas n the carb it runs til its gone then wont start again. i also took it apart and cleaned everything inside the carb. any suggestions???

sounds like you have float or float valve problems
time to tear it back down and see, pull the floats and clean inside the float valve for blockage, check the rubber tip for discombobulations.
i once had the metal tang of the floats catching on a lip it had worn on the mounting post, a quick file job solved that
and check/adjust your float height, should be 20-21.5mm for a stock mikuni carb, measured like this with the gasket removed, bend the center tab to adjust to specs............

well its an OKO carb and the float system is a lil diff. from the one in that pic. but i'll take it back apart and clean and check it all out
