The more I search the more I am thinking it's one of the crank seals. I haven't recieved my new tors eliminator kit yet, but I got it running halfway decent Saturday. Rode it pretty lightly for about 20 minutes and the revs just kept getting higher and higher as the motor got hotter and hotter. Then when it finally pegged itself it wouldn't shut down with the kill so it was running on compression or heat from being lean. I'm thinking as the motor heats up the seals warm up and start leaking worse and worse.
I haven't noticed any white smoke though. If the cap doesn't fix it I'll probably order the oil seal kit off of ebay and replace them all.
