BOOST BOTTLE ON STOCK CARB??

What would happen if i put a boost bottle on a stock carb.i understand that they were made for 34mm carbs but would it do anything on a stock carb.would it effect the way it runs..i read other posts on this topic and everyone seems to say they dont do anything.but would it hurt anything

answer me this it is for the airflow right..if so what if i put mothballs in it and then the engine would breath methonal just a therory or would i have a big ball of fire on my hands
