Blaster sprocket gearing!

Yeah They are amazing on my track i made with our tractor. we got some doubles and table-tops and alot more other stuff..They are sweet there! When i bought my blaster they had them on there, i didn't really have a choice. lol

yeah you should probaly get the itp xcr tires because they are very tough and good for trails.

yeah i have a weird setup on my 250, i have xcrs in the front and holeshots in the rear.

i had a stock blaster with 22" rear tires and i ran a 14/40 combo worked good and i liked it alot better then stock...

IMO you should never have to gear down on a blaster because there so undergeared from the factory

I run 13/42 for MX with 19" holeshots in the back. Since top speed is seldom an issue, it seems to add to the acceleration. Besides, you can always grab another gear!

I might put a 40 back in after engine work. Mostly stock right now.

What tires do you have? I would do 13-40 in sand, you want a little more power, less speed.

I just purchased a 04 Blaster. I am using Kenda F & R rear . It came Hole shots and was geared 14 /43 . Do I need to change it ?

3 teeth on the rear = 1 tooth on the front!

I know they are the same . But the Kenda are 6 ply tires and the Holeshots only 4 . I was concerned about the weight difference. Kinda new here be kind.

I have an 03 blaster still geared sock, it has a vitos 240 head with wiseco bottom end crank boyson reeds and a fmf powr core 2 exahuast... what do you recommend if I geared it different? p.s. I ride mostly trails but I wanna take it to an open practice

I have 2 Blaster's and have new gears to put on them. I have two 13 tooth spockets, a 40 tooth sprocket and a 42 tooth sprocket. I have a pair of 20" rear tires and a pair of 21" rear tires. Which tires should go with which sprocket or should I get different sprockets for all around trail riding? Both bikes have fmf Fatty, 1 piece Air filter, air box lid removed and jetted.

I switched to a banshee rear axle so I went 14/41 and I seem to like more than 14/40.
