Got my brother inlaws old v bottom crestliner for the summer.. has a 60hp 3 cyl 2 stroke outboard on it...
Took it out yesterday and burned up 3 gallons of gas in 20 minutes.... anyone care to help with this???? Boat was gone threw and tuned up last summer.. was winterised and put.away in fall and i had it out yesterday.. new plugs and non ethanol premium.. and mystik oil ( thats what he runs in it)
Idled down the channel about 600 yards out to the lake reved up just fine with no stumbles.. but ate a metric sh*t ton of gas real fast!!!.. what should i look into?.. i had the adjuster on the front of the motor right below the cover all the way to lean.. choke off but still swallowed the fuel..
