Ok, here we go. I ride an 07 WR250, so I"m one of those four stroke two wheeled weirdos, but my son just moved up to an 05 Blaster. We like to turn wrenches and learn new stuff, and are already having a blast with the blaster. It is bone stock, and I just got it jetted for our 7000 ft. alltitude yesterday. I pulled the airbox lid, went with a 220 main, and needle position number one. I runs great. Nerf bars, oil injection block off, and Maxxis Razr tires are in the mail to us.
We ride mostly in the forest, but go to the sand dunes at least once a year as well. I personally like to ride single track, but lets not talk about that in a quad forum!
Bottom line - found this site and have really enjoyed it. A thanks to all that have posted excellent information, including the 03 -06 manual update and info on pipes, jetting, etc...
