it looks like there are triple exhaust ports on that cylinder you might have a vitos 240 cylinder
How do I measure the bore with out taking the head off?

Because I'm not tearing into the motor if I don't need to.

What do you mean it has triple exhaust ports?????

You first started with wanting to do nos, then a turbo, and then decided the best was just to port it for reliable power

What are you doing now, if you wont be pulling the top end off?

Just paint for now and jett the carb then exhaust and ride it till i blow it up then ill port and do the engine work or ill get another engine and trans and build that one lol

Can i mesure from that exhaust port?

no.

follow this to identify that cylinder........

we can see it is an unpainted cylinder, which very well could be a 240 ?
if it is, it would be best not to blow it up, at least check comporession, if it is good....run it.
if it's low, rebuilding it now will save you $ in the long run
leakdown test it too !!!!!!

That last picture of the exhaust port looked like it had triples but it must just be the pic but if it says y1 or y2 its a stock cylinder these r triple exhaust ports

The only way to tell is take the head off and look on the bottom it will also say y1 or y2 if it is stock and have the yamaha tuning forks symbol the black one is stock the other is vitos

You could reuse the gasket if you anneal it properly. But they are only like $7. I have extra head and base gaskets for emergencies and what not

Dont ride it "until you blow it up" its not smart. you could do way more damage than repairable. if you built it once and build it right you can ride it for years without any problems. Leak testing twice a year is easy, and an air leak is probably the most detrimental thing to these engines. also oil, injected or mixed

Ok well i dont intend to just beat it till it breaks i am going to take care of it and if it breaks then i guess ill buy another engine or rebuild this one
