Ok I hade a problem with my gearbox something jammed it up so I split the case was going to put a vitos +3 crank in it since I have a Vitos 240 kit well I just found a parts blaster that is coming with a +4 hotrod crank so I'm going with that I know the cases need machining and it was saying machine the head but will that need to be done with a 240 kit plus should I run the spacer plate from vitos like on there stroker crank

The head will need machining or the piston will smack the head.

You could use a spacer like vitos has but that is designed for people that don't want to get the cylinder ported for the new added stroke. You will only see minimal power gains that way. The only real way to get the true power out of a stroker build is to send your entire motor to someone like KOR so they can port the cylinder and cut the head to the EXACT specs required for your EXACT crank. No crank is the same as another. There are tolerances involved so the only way to get it ported and cut to your specific crank is to send the entire motor to them.
