2000 Blaster not running for $400. Good or bad???

My godfather and i can do the majority of the work ourselves. Wasn't really looking to have it running next week but the sooner the better. Was pretty much looking for a project we can build from the ground up.

then yes i would say its a good deal, for a project but give it a GOOD look over before you buy it, check everything so u have an idea of what u will need to get for it.

Ok, I ended up paying $300 for the 2000 Blaster. It's in bad shape cosmetically. He went spray paint crazy, no screws in the plastics, just plastic ties to hold it on, I'm waiting on the shifter n I already have the kick assembly. It has great compression surprisingly. Im looking to work on it and hopefully have it running and looking good by the spring on next year. Any recommendations on where I need to start while waiting on the few parts I've ordered?
