I rode the Blaster some more and it RIPS with pro circuit on there... But now I have pipe fever,if the pro circuit was that much of an improvement over the fmf,how much better would a f7 or something similar be compared to the pro circuit? I dont need to buy another pipe tho..lol

I have done the timing mod and it is a definite noticeable difference..Plus its free..

Better late then never..lol I seen the toomey dyno graph that shows the fmf out performs the pro circuit across the board,so I decided to find out for my self.. I finally had time to dedicate to swapping the pipes back and forth.. Mods on the blaster now are ,ported stock cylinder w/2 base...

Looks like a lot of fun...I rode pretty hard yesterday and am a little sore today as well..lol

Its a timing issue..I bought a basket case Blaster once ,did the samething,6speeds of reverse.. Mine was caused by the stator I was given with the Blaster wasnt the right one and placed the timing way off..

This thread is really old.. Is that dyno graph reliable? It says FMF beats the pro circuit everywhere.I just switched from fmf to pro circuit..

Im going to also suggest an air leak,causing it to be really lean...I had crank seals leak on a previous blaster did the same thing...

I only do trail riding and have both the fmf and pro circuit.. To me the pro circuit feels better then the fmf all the way through.. Great trail pipe..Id love to try the toomey though..

First Im not defending extended stockers.. I extended my stocker as well..I extended it about middle ways..I added tubing inside the stock tubing and added 1/4" plate on all four sides boxing over the extension. No butt welds .I hope that makes sense. Its probably over done,its really heavy.. I...

Thats what Ive decided to do.. Im going to go buy new packing for both and see which one I like better.. Been a year since Ive ridden the Blaster, I have lost 60lbs since then,I wonder what kind of performance difference that will make! lol Ill keep you posted.

I have both of these pipes now.. The FMF has been on the blaster since I got it,does anyone know what the pros and cons would be for running one over the other? I have never tried the pro circuit,but like the way the silencer looks better ,compared to the powercore 2,but if the FMF performs...

Its not hard at all to extend your own swing arm,if you have a welder handy.. Im using honda 300ex rear hubs and honda offset rims,made the back about 4" wider without spacers.. I also moved my plastics back 4" or so,thats probably the best mod for "feeling"bigger..

Is there any gain from removing the stops?

I also have the rear plastics moved back 4" and 4.5" extended swinger,cut front fenders and 1" bar risers.. Feels like completely different quad,best mods Ive done so far.

I like the way my blaster fits and rides too.. I just wondered if other big guys rode blasters.. I have never really gave a sh*t what other people think,just made me wonder.. All the other guys I ride with ride 400ex or bigger quads,but we have never ridden anywhere that my Blaster couldnt...
