Going to install a Toomey B-1

Update on the pipe kit and VF4 reed install. I still have some fine tuning to do on the carb but man does my Blasty feel great! The power band comes out of nowhere midway to full tilt and I couldn't enjoy it more haha! One thing I noticed is that it feels a little sluggish in 1st and 2nd, I go...

Going to install a Toomey B-1

Thank you Blaaster! Just out of curiosity, is this video similar to what you described in your first comment?

Going to install a Toomey B-1

So Blaaster, pretty much I want to adjust the air screw until I get the fastest idle and then set the idle back to normal? I've heard this in a video before but I just want to verify. You are way more qualified for advice than from a random YouTube video :D

Going to install a Toomey B-1

It just seems odd that the kit comes with a larger main jet and they also suggest to set the air screw richer. I guess I'll find out what happens this afternoon haha.

Going to install a Toomey B-1

I'm installing my B-1 today and I was reading over the install sheet and it says to set the air screw to 3/4 turn from all the way in. I know stock is 1 - 1.5 turns out from all the way in. I just am curious on if this correct. I don't want to take any chances on blowing up my Blasty after my...

    Hello from Michigan

I was looking at lids like the second link you posted. I don't plan on going through any large amounts of water/mud anymore like I used to on my Blaster. I can save that for my Grizzly ;) So I'm planning on either using the 12 filter mods that comes with my B-1 kit or just leaving my lid off. My...

    Hello from Michigan

Yeah I wouldn't be a huge fan of premixing so I most likely will keep it injected. What would be a good air filter cover if I remove the lid? My plan when I get the pipe kit is to drill 12 holes in the lid and have all of the mod kit filters in those holes.

    Hello from Michigan

Thanks for the tip! The pipe kit comes with a 310 jet and a UNI filter as well as an airbox mod kit. Also, it'll be my first time doing a plug chop. Is there any specific things I need to do in order to properly perform a plug chop?

    Hello from Michigan

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forums here and have had a Blaster for about 7 or 8 years. I just started modding it this year and figured, what the heck, time to join this forum page. Currently on my bike I have a Banshee axle, front wheel flip, 18x10x8 Ambush rear tires, and a 14T front...
