So I did a leak down test that went great but while running I noticed the trans vent had vacuum so I tested it with a little oil and it sucked right up, that doesn't seem normal to me.

So I ordered a new piston and noticed some differences between the old wiseco piston. Its hard to see but the new piston has very fine ridges that cover the whole piston its not smooth like the older one.

Ok I'm gonna rebuild the lower end with help from a friend and I wanna order all the parts at one time so I can have this thing all finished in one day. Here is a list.

So I just picked up a blaster with bad top end. I pulled the top end and found copper speckles I'm pretty sure it was from the wristpin bearing but I have no history of the machine other then its got a .50 over wiesco piston that was trashed in the machine. So I have no skills in rebuilding...

So with all this talk of the dt200 having 30hp thats a big improvement. Are the case's different or just bore ? Will the top end fit on the blaster bottom end ? I know these dt200's are kinda hard to find so do people import the motors ?

I came across a 1989 blaster in good shape with some extra parts and a manual. I was wondering what a fair price for something like this is ? I checked ebay and cl and seams like 1200 to 1600 is in the price range ?
