i heard before that some aftermarket jets have different flow rates compared to genuine mikunis for example a 250 mikuni may flow like a 270 from an aftermarket, any validation of that being true?

and it's the stock mikuni carb. the jets are all pro/x from rockymtnatv

My bike came with a power core 2 and it sounded loud thought it neede repacked when i took shell off found that sheetmetal or sumthin was wrapped n tacked around core tight no leakage so it was like a straight pipe will this hurt bike/backpressure im clueless
