a cr250 would be perfect. but i keep looking on craigslist and everyone with a 250 is asking over 2200 and my bike isnt even worth that much at the moment and i dont have any money to put into it or put with te trade

ok so i really like the idea of saying i ride a 400, but im wanting a lighter bike so i thinking about trading down to a 2 stroke 125 how would my xr400 compare to, lets say, a cr125 or kx125

right now im just happy to ride lol i dont really care what brand or what size (if im just foolin around) it is haha i have a little kx65 i ride around while the honda is being worked

im in a bind, i have a 1996 xr 400 and i love it, its really reliable and really strong but i want to get into racing, this 400 is all the power and speed ive been looking for, so ive been thinking about trading down to a 250f but i keep thinking after this 400 id be disappointed in power, but...

ya i figured i helped my friend today on his xr200 cuz it was doing the same thing, so after doing his i decided to do mine tomorrow cuz it started back firing pretty bad before and then it locks up on me like this

ok so i got it of finally and adjusted the valves like normal, ( i didnt over tighten) but now when i go to crank it it will spin over once then lock up, i took the valve cover screws back off and rolled the bike in gear to see what it was doing this is what the valves are doing : exhaust open -...

thats afraid it was gonna come down to, i was just seeing if there was any other option

its time to adjust valves on this thing and usually it would be no problem, butnow it is, i can get 3 of the 4 valve cap srew things on top off, the fourth one is "stuck" i guess you would say and the nut shape on top of it has been broken, any ideas on how to get it off???
