I love my Toomey for the reasons listed above. High quality, parts availability, no leaks, great mid/top performance, and probably the best sounding silencer
I would follow the advice of these guys and get a hydraulic set up from Awk. I rebuilt the rear brakes on my 98 blaster and they worked but not nearly as good as hydros
That's good to hear. They were nice when I had spoke with them as well (Corey was his name I believe). Welding the collar would be a better/safer design especially if its for your kid
I would have to attribute the lighter weight to the better design of the 03+ Blasters. Hydro Disk brakes are lighter, the headlight design is lighter, probably a few other things as well. I bought my current blaster like this and it weighed in at 325lbs before all the mods
