I love my Toomey for the reasons listed above. High quality, parts availability, no leaks, great mid/top performance, and probably the best sounding silencer
I would follow the advice of these guys and get a hydraulic set up from Awk. I rebuilt the rear brakes on my 98 blaster and they worked but not nearly as good as hydros
That's good to hear. They were nice when I had spoke with them as well (Corey was his name I believe). Welding the collar would be a better/safer design especially if its for your kid
I would have to attribute the lighter weight to the better design of the 03+ Blasters. Hydro Disk brakes are lighter, the headlight design is lighter, probably a few other things as well. I bought my current blaster like this and it weighed in at 325lbs before all the mods
I thought it would be interesting to post the weight of the blaster and some other atvs I have had or weighed in the past. We have a large scale at work for weighing pallets of stone and its accuracy is within 1lb it gets calibrated a few times a year. Anyways here is the start of the list and I...
alright thanks I think im gonna pull the trigger on the pwk 33. luckily I have a slew of jets already. Does the carb come with the #6 slide or do I order that separate?
I was wondering if anyone here is running a pwk 33 ? I currently have a stock carb on my 03 with a full Toomey, no lid with uni, and KOR ported cylinder and modded head. Runs real nice but I feel more power can be had. I had a pwk28 on my old blaster and it ran great I loved the design and ease...
I do believe the stock cables will work but you may or may not have to re route them. I put these arms on my 03 they are 1.5 inches wider on each side and 1 inch forward so it doesn't need very much extra slack from the cables/lines to reach
nice looking bike. My friend had almost the exact one it was a 1993 but had 50 k miles and still ran great. How does it start? The reason i ask is when my friend got his it was difficult to start and ended up needing a valve adjustment
