The cost to repair OE VM26SS is almost as much as a complete new one. After searching and comparing specs, the VM26-8074 with 2.0 throttle valve comes pretty close. main differences are it has an air jet and the choke is a lever type. Just got a 97 Yamaha YFS 200 Blaster, have to replace carburetor (new). Seems to be stock engine but has DG expansion and silencer. At 700ft and premix fuel mainly summer temps, avg 70-90". Probably stay with stock air box. Please define "Plug Chop". New carb apparently comes with stock jets. Is...
