    Is splitting the cases necesery to replace the crankseals? Sometimes it blows oil out the breather tube on the crank. Plus I have never replaced either seals.

    BTW. The old piston before this one had a few little jagged edge on the bottom if intake side. Like if it were hitting on something? Does thus mean the cylinder needs chaferd??

    Second topend rebuild obviously "honed" it to much with three blade spring honer. Shoulda gone larger on piston bc it showed signs of blow by. Any way I put a standered size piston back in it. Had great high rpm power but not much low end off the pipe power. Lot of clutch slipin to get in power...

    I run amsoil dominator synthetic. Would 40:1 work better. Last time I ran 32:1 it smoked badly and started havin lean issues and caused all these problems. I'f I'm already running lean and add more oil(32:1) wouldn't that be less gas per oil and cause the bike to run leaner?

    doesnt really smoke at all, always ran synthetic at 50-1. thats it though as u say " feels like theres a load on it until u hit the power band. i got to check the compression, i kinda was thing rebuild time anyway. its been two years on this piston and rings.

    No power at all in first gear when taking off on a hill, Unless u rev it up into the powerbnad then slip the heal out the clutch. But once your going and your "on the pipe" It is very snapy at any throttle pos, it runs like a screaming 2 stroke should. But the second u let it drop off the pipe...

    fliped the reed pedals, cleaned the carb very well. i removed all jets blew through them and used guitar string. checked float level its good and its not sticking. the slide moves freely and the needle is fine with both washers on ontop and under needle clip. needle clip is on 3. 310 main jet...

    removing the tors and pbrake was first thing i did. it acts the same, no change at all. my reeeds dont look to bad but they are about three years old. they are the boysen dual reeds and i did notice they have a small gap between the reed cage. could reeds be causing these symptons?

    A leaky cank case seal would(could) give symptoms of what you describe. As far as the black plug goes....32:1 always smothers my plugs.

    Stay at 32:1 mixture, and lean out your jets one circuit at a time untill your plugs get browner. And a new air filter wouldn't hurt either.
