    project: ground up.

^^wish i caught that listing on time! ahaha, i've been busy rebuilding the head on my buddys 92 prelude so the garage has been a strictly car oriented zone for the past week and a half. havent made progress on the quad and havent stopped in here much either. do you have a price in mind for...

    project: ground up.

thanks for the comments guys, glad you like the build. as far as painting the a arms and swinger blask, alot of friends have suggested it after it was all together, but i honestly like the silver so chances are it wont happen. im thinking either black wheels or chrome? not really sure on that...

    project: ground up.

Wow, life really got the better of this project. nearly a month late from when i planned on having the quad to this state, but pictures of it going back together are finally up! i think its gone pretty smoothly aside from money being an extremely limiting factor in wrapping up the project...

how do i know if i need to bore my cylinder?

Im assuming that the cylinder is already taken off the engine for inspection and you just want an idea of what you're looking for. good signs (healthy engine that needs no boring) are good crosshatching (visible in decent lighting, nice 45 degree or so angle all the way down the bore, all the...

    Low Compression ?

the 87 psi is way low if its an accurate reading. the power loss could be due to a lean condition, but with 87 psi of compression, jetting isnt going to solve a whole lot. any chance there are still bits of metal in the crankcase being sucked up into the cylinder and causing premature wear of...

what does jetting do for you???

remove airbox lid, clean the filter up. i really dont see why you object to rejetting the bike a little though bro? its not nearly as bad as it seems once you actually look and see what is involved.

    airbrush work on plastics?

honestly i had no intention of doing the work on my own when i mentioned "ideas" i meant something to bring to shop and talk about doing with them. but the videos have kind of made me look into DIY after some practice

any advantages to flipping a shock

i may be wrong, probably am now that im thinking it out but ill put it out there to get torn apart by someone who really understands suspension. dirtbikes and high end mtbs have inverted forks because the oils are more immediately "available" when the fork starts its stroke. not exactly a shock...

    SP edition rebuild

rebuild looks awesome. ive got one going on too. put the roccomended amount of oil in the bottom end, cant think of a measurement off the top of my head, then ride it warm it up completely and drain it again. measure the amount that comes out. if its the same measurement as what went in, then...
