The new shaft absolutely fixed the problem the bend was so slight I never would have thought it that was the problem I also changed the torsion spring just for good measure

Could the piston be installed backward?

Ok so it shifted through all gears with no problem with a torx bit I put the shift shaft up against my carpenter square and went around it and I think it is bent its very very slight though

I pulled the shift shaft and it looks straight

How do you bench shift it
