    Replacing trans crankcase seal

thanks for the advice, at least I know it can be done with it in the quad now. I have done them before but the motor was out. I will throw my leak down tester on it. I have never had any bike grab into gear hard enough to stall on any of the bikes I have ever owned. In this case I had the engine...

    Replacing trans crankcase seal

Reason I think it's the seal leaking is because of having to run a smaller jet. Last time I ran the bike it shifted fine. Clutch adjustment never changed. Now when I went to ride it if u pull up on the shifter to grab first you can feel the gears catching. I bet the fluid got low enough and the...

    Replacing trans crankcase seal

So you guys were right, that's why I come here for advice. You guys are pro's. A month ago I made a post about a blaster I just bought with a Toomey B1 exhaust, and with a 310 jet it wouldn't run for crap, and ran much better with a 280. Haven't rode it but around the yard a few times. You guys...

    Jetting for toomey pipe

I ran Castor927 in all my dirt bikes, Gopeds, and even weed trimmers lol. Good stuff. The oil in it smells castor based, but how do I go about flushing the crankcase? The reeds are brand new just put them in. Exhaust isnt plugged. Air screw 1.5 turns out Riding it around the yard it runs...

    Jetting for toomey pipe

Elevation maybe 100ft above sea level. Central FL. 70*F Motor unk but from what I can tell, stock. Plan on doing the top end in it soon just to be safe. Im sure the compression is on the low side but will still start 1-3 kicks cold, 1 kick when warm. Using whatever mix he had in it now, but...

    Jetting for toomey pipe

Hmm your right, didn't think about that lol. What needle setting should this be at too? I'll check that too when I tear it apart. Never mind I found the manual for the pipe online.

    Jetting for toomey pipe

I'll pull it out and check, but Nothing was hanging up when I took it apart. It's has the airbox holes, an I tried no filter to eliminate that. So basically something is wrong to have the jetting that I have in it now right and run good. Cause the 310 wouldn't rev past half throttle

    Jetting for toomey pipe

i scored a running 01 blaster last week for my wife's Valentine's Day gift, float height was out of whack and owner couldn't figure it out, got it set up now. It has a Toomey pipe and silencer, I looked online and the kit for the pipe includes a 310 jet, which is what's in it, but it's running...

Which engine case bolt kit do I need?

Thanks I'll look into it. I have a few things I need to get on his site anyways. I need to find some case dowl pins too but I think I found them. I'm full of questions now that I'm about to order parts and get this blaster done. I have had it for a 6 months and haven't even rode it yet. My...

Which engine case bolt kit do I need?

i found a few online but most don't say what's included, I split my cases and I need the bolts to get the halves torqued back to sped. I don't really care about all the other bolts. Is this the one...

Anyone have crank main bearing journal measurements?

Ok so I found this from back in 2010. So it sounds like the bearing surface on the crank is fine based off those measurements. I doubt .0003" will matter. And the bearings look untouched. Why does the crank fall in without needing a puller, or even heating the bearing? Normal?

Anyone have crank main bearing journal measurements?

Also found the crank runout is no good. a tad of wobble in the crank. Needs to go to Ken :-/

Anyone have crank main bearing journal measurements?

I went to put the crank back in the stator side engine case today, and it went in smooth, a hair snug but was able to do it by hand without heat (weird). So I tried the other side, and it slide right on the crank no heat. Not loose but no force at all either to slide it on. Has me a little...

    NEEDING HELP BAD TODAY PLEASE!!!

Yep floats set wrong can cause it to run too rich and have similar symptoms. How high was it? You can do it yourself but any local shop could do it cheap too.
