Re: My '03 Project

i may have a line on some cases already too. one of my buddies has a clutch side case for 20 bucks, but dunno if it's cracked or not.

Re: My '03 Project

well, i have picked up where i left off. did some trading with james aka sicivicdude for a good bottom end that he threw together for me. got it and didn't have tools to switch stators so he was nice enough to send me his tools through the mail. got everything switched out that i needed and now i have half my topend back together. almost ready to finish this thing "AGAIN!". phewww....

tested out a new look today for sh*ts and giggles. what do you guys think?

i was dead set on running these goldies, but now i dunno. i think they will look a lot better when i get my +4 or +6 swingarm and a 400ex or 450r rear shock.

Re: My '03 Project

I like the goldies better. I'm not a fan of black wheels, they get lost in the tire.

yeah, the goldies look great with the blue to me, but black looks sick with it too. i'm torn now, but i'll bet the gold will look great when the bike is extended out like i planned.

Re: My '03 Project

Looks good man. glad u got the bottom end fixed, i went threw the same thing with my first blaster build. sux redoing work but oh well it happens

finally got this thing busted off. boggy as heck and the carb is jetted rich on 40:1 mix causing the revs to hang a bit. i need to order some jets for it and then i'm gonna switch back to 32:1 after the break in is done. only reason i used 40:1 is because that's all the store had and i figured it'd be alright with only a gallon of gas.

i'm working on posting some videos of it right now...will get them up soon.

Re: My '03 Project

yes, my camera sucks. this is also the 3rd heat cycle since rebuild.

Re: My '03 Project

finally got this thing about where it needs to be atm. still may be a tad bit rich and that may be why i have some hesitation, but this bastard surprises me. i'm proud of it i have to say. made a video of a few launches and the rediculous amount of time it takes to empty the carb bowl.

also, may have to rethink this exhaust setup. i wish it had more bottom end, but she does pull like hell in the upper rpms.

still need to put on my easy pull clutch lever too. probably would have got 2nd on the wheelie.

Re: My '03 Project

looks awesome man...i hope mine doesnt turn out to have to much topend and not enough bottom. Im kinda worried about that since im going with the f7
