Recent white blaster addition to the family.

Has front hydro brakes. But now the newer 2003 thru 2006 frame. and no rear brake.

I put on 2001 brake on it, but with front hydro brakes.

There was no easy way for me to run the rear brake cable to the front and work.

The only way was to run to just the rear brake pedal.

Now you can buy a cable off e-bay for like $22 on up for the cable / kit that you can easy use.

However, I didnt have $23. and thought how can I do this.

Well. I went to the local hardware store and got a 1/2 i,d collar and drilled some wholes in it for the cable.

I cut the cable long and ran it thru and used a pincher for the cable.

I also bought (i forget the exact name) a collar type bolt for the pivot area.

Now, you want to turn the adjustment for the rear brake all the way in, as to make sure if you dont get it right, you can use that adjustment to tighten it up and work right, cable tenstion.

here are a few pictures. i will post more for you.

Thank you.

I left the end of the cable a little long. I propable should have cut it. But the pinch crimp. was also longer than I thought.

We have kept a close eye on it. and so far, it has not moved or been a issue.

So it's been working fine and saved us a few dollars.
