Hello,

I have not seen this tip posted.

I use novus 2 and a buffer, to polish the plastic on my atv's.

It works great. the more time I take, the better it looks.

You asked what is Novus 2.

It is a plastic polish / restorer.

Also-

Meguirs, plastx polish does a decent job. But I feel novus 2 does a better job.

Basically, in 2005, my kids got into soap box derby racing, stock class. is a plastic shell. it came dull. I foudn this stuff to polish up the shell and get it nice looking.

I also use microgloss and micro polish.

I mostly buy from here, they have super fine sandpaper for plastic too.

I use it mostly now for polishing my kids pinewood derby wheels and wheel bores.

And, I prefer to use liquid glass wax, or legends liquid glass.

5 to 6 coats and its really a builder and hardens and protects better than most waxes I know of.

I hope this info is indepth enough with pictures and information and links.

My atvs, except for my recent purchase of a 2001 blaster, which led me to this forum.

My stuff is older and needed some TLC and working on.
