aight, so i finally got the studs and base gasket and put it all together. few days later i modded to fit the airbox.

at some point i lost spark???

only things electrical i touched during the whole time:
took spark plug wire off
warp tape around the cracked casing of the stator wires (the wires are fine, just the outer casing)

im truly stumped on this though!

what i tried:
3 more plugs
checked and cleaned connections

tomorrow i will probably pick up a multimeter and test a few things, i just need to find specs. but im going to try my brothers coil. easy swap and might be the problem

tell me what to check and i will. i want this fixed ASAP

i only have one tether kill switch. but okay will do

forgot to check coil ground

i just dont get why it ran 2 weeks ago. nothing changed and now it dont :(

no welding

So in about 90 degree weather, my coil is not matching specs.

Orange to black I'm getting .8 to .9 ohms resistance. Supposed to be 1.4-1.7 idk if temp makes a difference??

Orange to spark plug wire I have to set my meter on 20k ohms and I get 10-11 something.
Supposed to be 5.3-7.9

mine did a similar thing pal and the plug cap has given up and wouldn't even beep on the continuity tester replaced and bang it fired up this was after I made a race loom and like you was scratching my head ive never had a bad plug cap before now either

well even though my coil readings are way off, the coil is fine

my CDI is bad. one of the tests i couldnt get any reading on.

black/red and black wires i believe. tried my brothers on it and boom

Sadly a CDI can go at any time, stators are more foregiving . For both the most important thing is to make sure you have a GOOD ground.
