What up peps need info on getting back brakes working again when i got the blaster it didn't have any, it has the disk, the caliper, and a long cable running up to the front, need to know the cheapest way to get some back brakes and were to get parts

thanks in advance for any help

sounds like you have most everything. whats the problem exactly? is that caliper seized? im guessing you have the cable brakes.. most would go to the hydrolic but that can get expensive and me personally i dont use back brakes. lol

so exactly how do the back brakes work there is not a rear foot brake leaver, and the cable that goes to rear caliper goes up front and is connected to the front brake leaver?? does the front right leaver work the front and the back or what or is something missing??

There should be a brake foot pedal it sounds like your missing it. The cable goes to the handle for the ebrake. You can get ebrake delete cables on ebay as well as the foot lever. That is if the caliper is still good.

You may consider a hydro setup like awk posted. He loves them

buy a ysed Hydro setup off a2003-2005 blaster, make an aluminum bar to bolt to where present brke bracket goes, mount pedal using rear bolt for footpeg(bushing it, washer outer end) add bracket to back of footpeg to mount mastercylinder, mount resivior in between frame up posts just above it, just make sure MC bracket is back far enougn to clear kick throw. will post a few pics.

Pictures of what i did

Few more pictures oof set up. You will need to cut off brakets on frame for cable setup, and modify footpeg per pics. i still need tto get SS bands for MC, like used on CV shafts to secure MC better.
