jetting a keihin pe 26mm carb??

whare would be a good place to start with this carb? it has a 122 main and a 55 pilot now. is the hole in the jets the same as the numbers of factory size jets? so the factory 230 would be the same as this keihin 230?

btw mods are timing adv/uni filter/bored.40/vetos high comp piston and gasket kit

get rid of the tors and use a regular cable, and from what im told this carb has a better design/built better

140-145 would be my guess, prob on the rich side tho but still a good place to start, then start doing plug chopz...

BTW, Keihin jets are sized completely different than Mikuni jets.

changing carb sizes is the most common reason for needing keihin jetting and it will depend on the size of the carb you are going to.

i have a jetting chart but its in my head ,youd be around 145-148 on a keihin

good point Brandon ...a signicantly bigger carb will throw that conversion off for sure
