what is the range of good compression I know the perfect compression is 130 but how low is to low???
i would really start being concerned if your at 90 or below...the quad will run but won't run great...
A good guide line to follow is the 10% rule. Take a reading after proper break in, and check it regularly. Once the compression drops by 10% it time to look at some maintenence. Rings and hone, piston and rings and maybe a bore job.
We've found that this will keep the bike running near peak performance along with the proper jetting and clean airfilter.
