blaster running rich?

i was out riding and my blaster just died. and then when i started it if you hold down the throttle it would slowly quit. I just bought a new air filter and it still doesn't run right. i check my reeds and there was some filter oil on them, does this affect much? it will idle and if you chop the throttle it will eventually rev up completely.

No and it was cleaned 2x once by me, once by a mechanic

do you still have the tors on it if so check that

Was the filter pre-oiled, or did you oil it and leave too much on it? You wanna wring out pretty much all the oil you can, there shouldn't be enough excess to get to the reeds, it could be suffocating your engine

well oil on reeds could also be oil in the gas
