My Yamaha blaster 2000 200cc backfires so much and it doesn't idol I clean the carb and everything what else can I do ?

What year is it? I know if you shear the key on the flywheel it will run horrible and back fire. Throws timing off. Have you checked that?
Right now I don't have a key switch it broke so I took it off just order a new one it backfires when I don't have it on chock but when I have it on chock it run fine but doesn't stay on when on neutral its a 2000
It sounds like you either have a massive air leak which is creating and extremely lean mixture, or a blocked pilot jet!
yup clean pilot jet/entire carb..set idle under the seat,airscrew should be at 1 1/2 turns out from fully seated
or close to it..
