1. Remove your standard air filter lid (Only 4 screws holding it in place)
2. Get some grill or drain mesh. Place it over the area where the lid got screwed on.
3. Cut it to size, make sure the four screw holes line up with the Mesh.
4. Get some materiel that is going to act like a filter make sure it is breathable for the carb.
5. Measure and cut is to size.
6. Stitch it or use some cable ties or wire to hold the materiel in place.
7. Place it back over the four holes of the screws that held the old lid in place and cut four small holes for the screw to go threw the materiel.
8. Now screw it in place and there you go.....

Remember to make sure your jetting is right after you did this mod.

haha i probably will. i have some leftover .5" spaced boxed screen from work so maybe ill cut a piece and ill grab some tights from my sister. ill try it out sometime this week and ill letcha know

Why not just take off your lid, and put a book sock on it. Its tight and its breathable and you dont have to do any extra work.

for that matter just leave the filter and put the screen on top that should give more air flow there..
