Hey guys I'm new here, I just purchased a 87 Yamaha blaster, it has a FMf pipe big bore kit and some other stuff, it currentlyhas a minkuni tm32 flatslide carb, I'm having issues figuring this thing out, got it running today but runs like crap, has little power and will back fire now and then what jets should I be runing? It does bog out at 1/2 to full throttle, idk if it needs different jets or reeds some one help!!

nobody can tell you exactly what jets to run, especially with that combo of 240cc cylinder (if it actually is ?)
paired with the FMF pipe, true 240's mate up better with mid/top end pipes, not low/mid pipes as the FMF is.

FMF's on stock cylinders and carbs usually require between 270 - 320 mains, depending on intake, temps, and elevation.
for a 32mm flatside ?
I can tell you that 90% chance the stock jets and needle for that carb from whatever it came off of will be too rich for a blaster.

we can lead you to tuning it yourself, in this order .........

1. the engine must be airtight, leakdown tested and pass

2. the float height must be correct for that carb

3. tuning the airscrew to determine and tune the pilot jet/circut

4. needle for a 32mm flatside ? try to see if anyone else has run anything close to your combo

or call the dude at carb parts warehouse, he's a tuning wizard and will set you up
http://www.carbparts.com/
you can do 1/2 throttle plug chops to tune the needle clip position

5. buy a range of jets, probably 300 - 340+ for the combo you're running ?,
again...call and ask the dude at CPW, and be ready to order what he suggests while on the phone.
buy at least a 6 pack of B8ES NGK plugs for plug chops
start with the largest main jet and plug chop down to perfection, then I like +1 up from that to be safe.
plug chops: http://www.blasterforum.com/threads/how-to-plug-chop.53237/
and rejet for any major rise/drops in temps or altitude
