check your case bolts in the bottom case as well....if they become loose it will suck air in the cranke case and cause the same problem.....if you spray soapy water anywhere that there is a seal or a mating surface and then give it a few good kicks and look for bubbles this can assist you in...

See thats poor business practice on his part in my opinion! it would only take him 2 min to look at that cylinder and tell you if it needed bored....but anyways if you buy a .80 and it doesnt bored then you could put it back together and ride....they do sell .90 pistons, i have never bored one...

If you took the head off and it has been leakin at the gasket you will see on the piston near where the leak was itll be a different color and possibly visible damage from the leak. If the jug is not badly scored a hone job will cost about 10 dollars at napa....i just had 2 done the other day...
