    Blaster swap into YSR50

I guess you're not really interested in it if you don't take the time to do it. I too had an old bike that I had been fixing up for 5 years. Still haven't done it yet.

1995(?) Blaster, two-phase rebuild with my daughter

If you try both systems, you will be able to form your own opinion. Perhaps Toomey worked better for some, CT for others. Try both. Start with the one you like best. CT? Ok. CT. Less hesitation, do it.

1995(?) Blaster, two-phase rebuild with my daughter

Mouse made a nest? That's funny. If your Blaster has been idle for a long time, be thankful there was only 1 mouse nest.

Do I ride it or keep it stored?

Do I ride it or keep it stored?

It's unlikely you'll be able to sell it for much more than you spent. Five times the price is something unbelievable. It's not an antique. People will be looking for newer and better models, not antiques.

I'm going to buy a Blaster, but I haven't chosen one yet. I decided to ask around on the forums. I want to choose a model that will work well and will not need to be repaired often. I will stop by occasionally when I have free time. We are having summer now, I also ride my bike. I hope I won't...
