    Fmf pipe leaks

I didn’t realize there was a separate flange that went inside the expansion chamber. I had to look up pics to see what you were talking about. I’d like to see what others have done as well. Bump

Need a bunch of parts. I’ll trade for blasting/powdercoating service

Hi all, here’s the deal... I purchased most of a 99 blaster to tinker with. I would like to get it running for as little cash spent as possible. So far these are the items I need. (Don’t laugh) Running engine - or close to running (Because I need so many parts to fix mine it’s just...

    Fmf pipe leaks

Isn’t there a silicone boot for that joint? Just throwing it out there. A full exhaust is one of those things that was missing from my blaster when I got it. EDIT: I thought you were talking about the exhaust to silencer connection. The pipe to head connection could be a few things. Bent...

Thank you my good man! I’ll get some time to tinker again this Sunday and I will put this to use.

    Stripped reed screw !! Fml

This I can see doing, and let it set up overnight before riding. Ah, gotcha. Does the yamabond set up hard or stay flexible? I’ve never used it. I’ve used tons of the permatex mentioned above on various engine builds over the years. Those are all car engines though. I’ve never had to work...

    DuraBlue part number location?

Thanks for the reply awk08, I appreciate it. I want to tear it down and go through everything, but currently I need to be able to roll it around due to space constraints. I know those rear bearings are smoked, it’s moving all over the place. Just trying to get an idea of what is factory and...

    Stripped reed screw !! Fml

Might be better off to just eat the cost and do the helicoil. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_2_7?url=search-alias=automotive&field-keywords=m6+helicoil&sprefix=M6+heli,aps,146&crid=RIIU7CZ3ZQDE Is it normal to use yamabond on those surfaces? I’m new to 2 strokes, but not new to...

Welcome! My family line stretches back to County Donegal 3 generations back. I hope to visit the “motherland” in a few years for my 40th.

    Hi from CT

Thank you both! Yeah, regarding the “likes” I found the rules and read them a few days ago. Seems to be a fair policy:) I haven’t been swindled by an online sale yet, but I’ve read some horror stories! I appreciate the welcomes.

Exhaust won’t stay bolt stripped what’s my next move

Yeah, that thing looks pretty biffed. I’d suggest a helicoil but by the time you went through all that I imagine you could have a decent kicker off eBay with about the same money spent.

    DuraBlue part number location?

Hi all, FNG here. I’m trying to figure out what I have here on my new turd. At first glance it looks like a +4 durablue rear axle, but I have no idea. Does anyone have the location of where I could expect to find a part number IF this is actually a DuraBlue? Also, stock axle measurements...

    Hi from CT

Hi Guys and Gals, Allow myself to introduce......myself. My name is Jeremy and I recently acquired MOST of a 99 blaster for a very decent price from a buddy who needed the space back. My goal was to tinker and fix it up, but as with all things that we acquire for cheap, it needs a bunch...
