    The intake manifold was in stock, the air filter pod had to be ordered. and new plugs are always on deck. It has been bitterly cold here in NY. Im hoping to get everything all together and squared away tomorrow. Reeds were also cleaned up and going to clean out the port they sit in as well...

    You can see in my pic on page 4 it shows the same stamp on the flat spot. 224 3 1 I just want to make sure I get the right jets for it. LOL

    Does it matter that those jets dont look the same? My boy who works at the rec spot is picking it up. He's gonna see what he can find, hopefully pickup those jets and a few plugs for me, and i will report back.

    So I got the carb yesterday. I took off the bottom bowl and could see the pilot jet. It looks like it says 92.5?! Is that possible? LOL As for the main, I didnt want to mess with trying to get it out when I have NO IDEA of the proper way to do it. My buddy who works at the local rec shop...

    No stock carb, but this unit is a complete replacement unit. Should be able to bolt in and go. I think the 300 is going to be just a little rich as well, but not as much as the Keihin carb. That thing is dumping truck loads...

    Yea the Keihin carb is def an aftermarket unit that is on there. Its way too big. LOL The unit I bought is the one listed below. http://www.ebay.com/itm/330794623311 This unit (Stock YZ85) from what I see on Yamaha websites is 300 / 32.5

    From looking on different OEM Yamaha sites, it looks like the STD Main and Pilot jets are 300 / 32.5 I dont know any internal specs of the motor on my Blaster, but it does have a FMF Power Core II on it, and it does have an Air filter as oppose to the stock airbox.
