So have this 2000 Blaster and bought it not running didn’t have spark ended up unplugging this box under the front plastic and got it to get spark. Now it doesn’t wanna run I’ll kick it over it’ll give a little rumble then doesn’t actually get going. What do you think my problem is?

Could be a dozen problems.

You can’t rely on resistance on the kick starter for compression. I’d highly suggest starting with a compression test. If it’s low, you might get it to start, but if the piston is loose it WILL break causing severe damage. Anything less than 120lbs and it needs rebuilding.

Also it’s a good idea to do a leak down test. Especially considering it’s a new to you machine. It’s actually recommended for routine maintenance. An air leak can kill an engine VERY QUICKLY !!

If compression is good clean the carb. Make sure you can blow air through ALL passages. Pull the main jet holder/emulsion tube and clean holes on the side of it.

Does it have a fat blue spark ⚡️ or is it a lazy yellow?

I did do compression test has 120 psi and I believe the spark is pretty good like I said it wants to go but it’s clearly missing something to not go
