I just got my engine rebuilt n notice I have a compartment to fill up the oil under the seat then in the regular spot on engine...where do i fill it at?

Also what kinda oil do I use

Under the seat use a 2 stroke oil designed for air cooled motorcycles, Synthetic oil seems best. Do not use oil designed for weedeaters or chainsaws.

Use oil designed for motorcycle gearboxes for the filler on the engine. No more than 650ml. There is a sight glass near the bottom of the engine.

10 w 30 engine oil can be used in the gear box, providing it has no friction modifiers. Some people use auto trans type F.

Make sure you do the break in proceedure. Start the motor, let it idle to operating temp, switch off, then let it cool for 30 mins or more.

Do this 3 - 5 times, re tension head and jug bolts. Ride two tanks of gas at no more than 3/4 throttle, then let it rip.

that tank under the seat needs to be refilled regularly if that tank is bone dry may have been the reason of the rebuild in the first place

Couple question do I just fill the tank with 2 cycle oil n that plug that's on the engine is for the trans ? Also I still have to mix 2 cycle oil in the gas right?

If it is stock and the oil injection has not been blocked off, there is no need to add oil to the gas.

Check to see if there is any oil in the tank under the seat, if not fill and perform a system bleed, there is a thread here somewhere on the forum.

The plug on the engine is for the gearbox/trans oil, and you should be able to see if there is any in there looking at the sight glass.

Dont mix oil/gas if theres oil in the tank... Trans oil is that plug on the motor... add 650ml.. dont overfill... Be sure the oil is suitable for the tranny before putting it in... Also, if your oil tank was completely empty then thats why your motor had to be rebuilt. Always have oil in the oil tank.. and dont put wead eater oil in it, use a quality 2stroke motorcycle oil.. go to your dealer and get it.

Most of us (Blaster owners) delete the oil injection & premix our fuel because the oil pump is notoriously unreliable. You should make sure it wasn't the cause of your rebuild in the first place before you ruin your new engine by just running it & hoping it works. Personally I would block it off & run QUALITY premix instead.

Ok the guy who rebuilt it said I should run 32:1 mix so u think I shouldn't fill up that tank? I only.ask cuz I got it rebuilt 4 months and its been sitting n I don't remember what he did with the oil.block off

You need to find out if the oil injection has been blocked off, or do a block off yourself.

You cannot run both oil in the injection tank and 32:1 in the gas, way too much oil.

If you choose to go to premix you may need to bump your main jet up one due to the leaner fuel mix.
