i use a flat file after a razor blade, and yes very carefully keeping it flat & multiple directions. takes nicks & scratches out without removing any material from the head. its my method & im sticking to it I:I

who else makes them besides RENTHAL ? i have RENTHAL's on my tri-z250 and love the look over stock bars. my bad, tri-z has pro taper. sit'n here looking at decals my lady had taken off her blaster & renthal is the biggest decal

we just bought a pair of these & i dont intend on using the supplied backing bar. i wouldnt say he has a defective part, i would have to say the reed flutterd at high RPM's causing a fracture. though they are on the thin side, i do think the stock backing should serve these reeds well. then...
