I guess I could try another plug, mine still sparks just not very bright blue, I tried cleaning it with a rag and carb cleaner. That will be the cheapest thing to try right off though

The previous owner cut all the wires but left the brain plugged in, so I removed that, still nothing. It did fire up, ran for 15 seconds then sputtered out and wouldn't fire again :(

The carb doesn't seem to be flooding, at least it's not coming through the overflow tube. I went to build the leak down tester but lowes doesn't carry a low pressure gauge so I have to wait till I can make a special trip to Home Depot or a place like it X( Is there anything else I could try...

Ok that helps. How do you do a plug chop when you're not supposed to go WOT on a fresh engine rebuild?

So I'm looking at about a #265 main jet. Elevation here is around 1,100 ft. It's almost winter here, and I'd say the average temp is around 35-40 degrees. Where do you get jets?

I don't have calipers :p but it's 30mm i.d. On the motor side. Doesn't that help at all? Thanks!!!

It's a mikuni carb I measured both sides, the side on the air filter is around 40mm or so. The side on the intake is 30mm + or - (sorry I don't have an accurate form of measuring)
