    Just finished my full dis-assembly with no issues, went to napa and bought vacuum plugs for a dime a piece. no block off plate....not necessary at all. might fab one in the future if i get around to it though....

    affirmative! roommate just had the same problem, cut, remove baffle, weld shut. While it's open you might remove some of the insulation....if you want it to be louder than a SOB!
