the stator was messed up, the coils have tears in them. i swapped it with another stator i had in my shed and now it starts perfect. thanks for the advice guys

Does napa sell leak down testers? I don't have one.. But I did the chop and the plug has a very light tan ring

thanks. though compression is great. we just did the piston and rings. and i already have my air screw turned out a lot. the 1 1/2 out wasnt working out. the quad bogged a lot and wouldnt clear up. it sounded more like a four stroke and i messed with the adjustment a bit until i got to to where...

i have a 03 blaster that bogs a bit at the beggining of each gear. but if i give it enough trottle it will clear up. how can i fix this? there is no air filter cover and it has a dg exhaust. the main jet is a 240.

im going to switch over another coil because it looks like it has weak spark

no i havent... it shouldnt be losing compression though

i also swapped carbs, cdi, regulator, coil and plug from a running quad and some extra parts i have. it has spark and great compression

i have an 05 blaster and we just put new rings on and a new plug. it was running fine until it ran low on fuel. it would bog like the key way was stripped but the key is fine and i put more fuel in it and now it doesnt like to start. even when we pull it, it doesnt even want to start

i have a vitos exhaust on my blaster and i wanted to know how well it performs over stock and if i should jet my carb. thanks

none of the sites had the parts for that year... do you know what other year cdi's i can use?

anyone know where i can order a cdi for it?
