If it's clean, I'd give it a shot! Clean the slide and needle really good before installing the new carb too

If it's sat for a while the old gas will get sticky and gum everything up. You're probably best off cleaning the carb and replacing the float and needle valve.

Try using some copper RTV to really seal it up. Could be your slide is sticking in the carb too. Didn’t think of it earlier.. Would make sense that the idle dropped after you bumped the throttle.

Sounds like an intake leak or maybe had some fuel leak down to the trans fluid. I had the same issue not too long ago. i replaced all the seals and changed the oil, and it was good as new! My right side flywheel seal was weather rotted and kickstart seal had seen better days. I tested for leaks...

Cancel that, bought myself a decent set of Works triple rates w/res off a banshee. Good luck on your shocks :)

Is the old harness bad? I wouldn't make one if you don't have to.. I'd look up a wiring harness layout to make sure you get your connections right.

Replaced stock/homemade exhaust with FMF Powercore II. Also replaced twist throttle with 400ex thumb throttle, TORS delete with idle screw installed.

Thanks, I've read it and a few others and they're very helpful on the installation. Just seeing if anyone had a battery already installed on their bike that fit nicely in the open box. I work in a little bike shop so I guess I could just test fit a few

So I'm going to be converting my Blaster to 12V DC here soon and installing 2 smaller led spot lights. was just wondering if anyone is running a battery from the box under the seat? I would like to find a battery that will fit in the area snug and not too tall.

That's good the know about the rear +3 and front +1. I just ordered a set of Alba A-arms. Just need to save up a bit to get the +3 swing arm and rear shorty brake cable :) Also saw a set of Tusk extended rear 450 hubs for 100.. Might do that till I can get a decent extended rear axle..
